POSITION INFO:

COST ACCOUNTANT (BANKING)

This isn’t manufacturing costing. This isn’t standard “count-the-nuts-and-bolts” costing.
This is banking costing — where the products are invisible, the stakeholders are many, and the numbers move faster than a debit order you forgot about.

You’ll be the financial detective who:
- Hunts down cost drivers with scientific precision
- Breaks down allocations like a DJ dropping beats at Konka
- Runs budgeting, modelling, and forecasting that makes execs say “wow, finally someone gets it”
- Investigates variances like they personally offended you
- Turns insights into decisions that actually shift the bottom line

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING

CIMA qualified or studying towards

- Real, lived, earned costing experience in a banking environment
- Excel skills strong enough to make pivot tables fear you
- A brain that enjoys patterns and a personality that enjoys people
- The ability to simplify complexity without creating a 42-slide PowerPoint

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE

- Experience with BI tools
- Exposure to digital banking or fintech
- A healthy relationship with spreadsheets
