Job Description

Reporting to the Construction Manager, the General Foreman will handle the following:

Oversee and coordinate all on-site construction activities, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards.
Lead and supervise site teams and subcontractors, maintaining steady progress toward project deadlines.
Plan and manage material requirements, deliveries, and on-site usage to control costs and prevent delays.
Conduct regular site inspections, addressing issues promptly to uphold quality and safety standards.
Collaborate with the Site Manager, Project Manager, and Quality Control teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
Monitor daily progress against programme timelines and implement corrective actions as needed.
Liaise with clients, consultants, and inspectors, ensuring compliance with design, specifications, and contractual requirements.
Support the handover process, ensuring all work areas are complete and ready for final inspection.

Qualifications

Minimum of 10 years’ experience in residential, commercial, or industrial construction
