CREDIT CONTROLLER - Fixed Term

POSITION INFO:

Job Purpose:

CIT invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for the Creditors Clerk position based at OUR JHB Branch. The role is responsible for management creditors accounts which includes data validation, reconciliation of accounts and maintaining a good relationship with the suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interact with suppliers to ensure that statements and invoices are received on time.

• Capturing of invoices to ensure month end deadlines- are met
• Ensuring that invoices and statements received complies with SARS standards
• Must be able to perform reconciliations accurately and timeously
• Resolve queries on accounts with no queries older than 30 days
• Assist with the take-on of new suppliers
• Preparation of month-end suppliers accruals
• Assist in the process of implementation of a paperless payment process
• Identification and minimizing of risk areas in the supplier payment process

JOB - RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

• Grade 12
• Accounting qualification advantage
• Advance Excel
• 3 – 4 years’ experience in a financial environment
• Statistical skills
• Analytical skills
• Communication skills
• Interpersonal skills
