CTS 16950 - Business Unit Manager (Gaskets & Seals) – JHB

Your responsibilities will be the following:

• Lead, grow and develop the team responsible for the performance of the business unit.
• Support business growth in target markets through expansion, product introductions and securing new or additional resources and capabilities.
• Monitor monthly financial statistics using the business unit income statement and balance sheet.
• Focus on sales, gross margin, overheads, operating profit, stock holding and key ratios.
• Implement recovery plans should there be a reduction in sales volumes, unforeseen increase in overheads or profitability.
• Implement pricing structures which support the ongoing growth, profitability and sustainability of the business unit.
• Identify, propose and implement agreed new business opportunities which the company could enter by analysing market trends and leveraging market information to maximise business opportunities.
• Determine the specific growth path by market considering the needs of the customers and capabilities offered.
• Identify training and development needs, implementing plans to address requirements, as appropriate.
• Manage staff resources and productivity, maximising output through efficient use of resources, time planning and CRM.
• Negotiate payment terms, shipping INCO terms, distribution pricing and where possible bulk deals or project pricing
