Job Description

Your job responsibilities will be the following:

Produce technical drawings and 3D models using Revit and AutoCAD
Preparing comprehensive, detailed shop drawings, layouts, sections, schematics, and installation details for MEP systems (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting).
Using Revit MEP and AutoCAD to develop Building Information Models (BIM) and perform clash detection to resolve interferences between MEP systems and structural/architectural elements.
Reviewing engineers’ rough sketches, specifications, and calculations to create finalized, constructible drawings.
Preparing “as-built” drawings at the end of a project, which document the final, installed state of all MEP systems.
Collaborating with project managers, consultants, and other engineers to ensure designs comply with project specifications, industry standards, and local codes (e.g., NFPA, IPC).
Modifying, revising, and resubmitting drawings based on client feedback, site conditions, or engineering changes.
Assisting in the preparation of Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and calculating material requirements for installation.

Qualifications

Matric
Any Revit & Auto Certification would be advantageous

Skills

Minimum 5 years’ experience in Revit
MEP experience is a must
Valid Driver’s License and Own transport essential
