CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP MANAGER (CRM): INVESTMENT OPERATIONS – Cape Town

R420 000 to R480 000 Per Annum plus Performance Based Bonus

Innovative Asset Management firm is currently recruiting within their dynamic CRM Team.

One would describe you as being highly articulate with strong technical accounting skills and the ability to find innovate client solutions whilst working autonomously as well as a member of the team. You are deadline driven with a strong sense of urgency.

Main Purpose of the Role:

To ensure that the fund administration is undertaken accurately and within the set time constraints and provide support the various business areas.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Processing of Client flows
• Processing of New client take-on/Client disinvestments
• Processing of Transitions and Partial take-ons and take-offs
• Performance checking/reporting
• Client Cash Management
• Cash management co-ordination/administration (including electronic banking)
• Instructions and flows of investments in to Pooled products
• Daily valuations/morning reporting
• Weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting
• Quarterly SARB reporting
• Reg 28 reporting
• Audit certificates
• Check and follow up on Bank/Scrip Recons
• Procedure documentation review and maintenance
• Management and performance of fee calculations, invoicing and processing of payment
• Monitoring of outsourced administration
• Monitoring of Unit Trust Administration
• Equity, Derivative, Fixed Income trade monitoring
• Proxy Voting
• Corporate Action voting and checking
• Maintain 3rd party relationships (Administrators, Brokers, Custodians, Consultants)
• Database management and updates

Qualification, Skills and Experience required:

• Relevant B.Com Honours Degree / Relevant Finance or Investment Degree
• 4-5 Years demonstrable experience within the financial services industry (investment consulting, fund management, or asset management) including experience of investment report backs to clients
• Technical knowledge of Investments, encompassing knowledge of performance and positioning of funds
• Strong technical accounting knowledge
• Proficient with MS Excel
• Experience with Unit Trusts (Advantageous)
