Laboratory Manager for Calibration Lab (Lab Head/ nominated Representative to SANAS) ·         Recruitment, Employee reviews, staff issues, leave
·         Lab staff training
·         JHB Quality Manager
·         Manage Maintain ISO17025 Quality system
·         Develop Lab systems
·         Procedures
·         ILC program
·         Document control & development
·         Reference calibrations
·         Equipment Purchasing
·         Lead on SANAS audits
·         Mapping Services
·         Facility mapping
·         In-house calibrations
·         Onsite calibration work
·         Sales support for technical calibration enquiries
·         Internal sales
·         External sales
·         Technical Signatory
·         Temperature Lab
·         Gas Lab
·         Internal auditor for CT Lab
·         Develop improve new parameters
·         Pressure, flow
·         Humidity (SANAS)
·         Sourcing & purchasing & Managing laboratory equipment & consumables
·         Maintenance …
·         Workflows
·         Customer complaints
·         Recruitment, employee reviews, staff issues, leave
·         Employee training

Requirements:

Desired

· Metcert holder or ECSA

· Courses from NLA

· Temperature / Humidity / Gas

· Uncertainty

· ISO17025 (SANAS)

· Technical Signatory for Calibration Lab

· Need to be able to run and ISO17025 system (Preferably running a System)

· Ideally has a diploma / degree in Electrical or similar

General ·         General business skills
·         Some IT related skills
·         Basic networking
·         Office
·         Excel (Advanced)
·         SAP / SBO
·         5 years’ experience in calibration labs
·         People management skills
·         Good people skills (Sales, customers, teams)
·         Willingness to get their hands dirty / hands on person
