SUMMARY:
Our client in Parktown, Johannesburg is seeking a Candidate Attorney who will assist with legal research, drafting of legal documents, preparation of case files, court attendance, and client liaison while gaining practical legal experience under supervision.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

Assist with legal research by sourcing and analysing relevant case law and legislation
Draft and prepare legal documents including contracts, pleadings, notices and correspondence under supervision
Prepare and organise case files for trial and motion proceedings
Attend court proceedings when required to observe and assist the legal team
Liaise with clients to obtain instructions and provide updates on matters
Provide general administrative and clerical support to attorneys
Assist with the preparation of legal opinions and summaries where required
Gain practical exposure across various areas of law while working under supervision
