Salary: R8,000 CTC per month + R500 Phone Allowance
Working Hours: Monday – Thursday: 08:00 – 16:30 | Friday: 08:00 – 16:00

Introduction

An established legal practice in Kempton Park is seeking a motivated and professional Candidate Attorney to join its team on a two-year Practical Vocational Training (PVT) contract. This opportunity offers valuable exposure to litigation, court procedures, legal administration, and client matters, making it ideal for a recent LLB graduate looking to build a successful legal career.

POSITION INFO:
Duties & Responsibilities Provide administrative support relating to legal matters and case management. Draft, prepare and organise legal documentation and correspondence. Assist with general litigation matters. Attend court proceedings and perform court-related duties as required. Conduct legal research and assist with the preparation of legal opinions. Liaise professionally with clients, counsel, correspondents and relevant stakeholders. Maintain accurate client files and ensure all documentation is properly filed. Support admitted attorneys with daily legal and administrative functions. Ensure compliance with legal procedures, deadlines and practice standards. Requirements Completed LLB Degree. Must preferably reside within reasonable travelling distance of Kempton Park. Fully bilingual in English and Afrikaans (spoken and written). Valid South African driver's licence. Own reliable vehicle or access to reliable transport.
