SUMMARY:
We are looking for an experienced specialist in Learnerships to join us as a Candidate HR Specialist

POSITION INFO:

JOB ROLE

To ensure completion and retention of candidates placed with employers and/or host sites – as well as ensure that all tasks/activities are executed correctly, efficiently, effectively according to departmental process and procedures

DUTIES

Queries

1.           Handle all queries effectively and efficiently within a reasonable time frame

2.           Ensure that all queries from new intakes are handled timeously, quickly and efficiently

Candidate Management

1.           Connect and engage with assigned candidates to understand their needs and expectations

2.           Weekly check in with candidates to provide peer to peer psychosocial support

3.           Monthly site visits where required to ensure candidates are settled at employer/host sites 

4.           Support the onboarding process of candidates into employer/host sites

5.           Maintain good and professional relationship with employer and host sites.

6.           Provide peer to peer psychosocial Support to candidates in their first 6 to 12 months of placement         

Administration

1.           Maintain data base of candidates for which oversight and co-ordination is assigned and ensure            all details captured are done so correctly

2.           Candidate files are correctly and neatly filed in the database, on the server and on any other               platform used by the organisation for recording candidate data

3.           Support in capturing YES and Work Experience data for upcoming uploader submissions.

4.           Review Report and continuously update candidate information and return current information on a               weekly basis.

5.           Use the call report sheet to document weekly calls made to all candidates.

6.           Record and manage leave days of candidates. Ensuring that candidates have taken sufficient      leave by the end of their tenure.

7.           Accurate and complete reporting of site visits using the site visit report template. Ensuring that               details of issues are clearly recorded, that plans to resolve issues are clearly laid out and are            actionable.

8.           Ensure all documentation is accurate, complete and well presented for audits

Marketing, Comms & Events      

1.           Assist in all candidate related events and campaign.

2.           Support all candidate retention strategies and implementation

Training and Professional Development

1.           Attend all scheduled training courses.

2.           Submit all assignments relevant to the training courses that have been attended.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

•            Matric (Grade 12)

•            Diploma in Project Management

•            Minimum of 3- 5 years’ relevant candidate/learner/project management experience

•            Customer Service

•            Problem Solving Skills

•            Interpersonal and People Skills

•            Communications Skills

•            Microsoft Office suite
