POSITION INFO:
Our client is an innovative FinTech company based in Sandton, where speed, accuracy and continuous improvement are part of everyday business. They're looking for a Cashbook Clerk who enjoys working with high volumes, solving reconciliation puzzles and supporting a finance team that thrives on collaboration. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who wants to build a long-term career in finance while working in a business that embraces innovation and values fresh ideas. Key Responsibilities: Process daily cashbook transactions across multiple bank accounts Perform daily and month-end bank reconciliations Investigate and resolve reconciliation variances Process EFT payments and banking transactions Support month-end reporting and financial reconciliations Assist with audit queries and compliance requirements Rotate across multiple bank accounts to support business continuity Ensure deadlines, controls, and financial procedures are consistently met Job Experience and Skills: Diploma in Accounting, Finance or related field 2 to 3 years' experience in a cashbook-focused role Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel Experience on Navision \/ Business Central 365 advantageous Accpac experience advantageous Sound understanding of cashbook processing and bank reconciliations General understanding of VAT principles Energetic, organised, analytical and eager to learn and grow If you're ready to reconcile more than just bank accounts and want to build a career with a business that's moving finance forward, then we'd love to hear from you!
