Multi-national organization in the automotive and logistics sector requires the expertise of a senior strategic sourcing professional to take on a Category Manager role. This group has a footprint in over 100 countries worldwide and a well known and respected in the South African Market.

The main purpose of the role will include the development and execution of sourcing strategies for a specific category, maximizing cost savings, and building relationships with key suppliers.

Requirements:

Degree in Supply Chain/Logistics/Transport/Commerce
CIPS accreditation
5 to 8 years of experience in a strategic sourcing
Proven track record in one of these categories: Automotive/Transport/Logistics/Leasing
Supplier relations management
Cross-function and stakeholder engagement
