A leading logistics company is looking for an Accounts Payable Team Leader.

The Accounts Payable Team Leader will be involved in providing financial, administrative, and clerical support to the organisation and direct team reports.

As an Accounts Payable Team Leader, you will be responsible for the following:

Supplier recons
Supplier terms and conditions adhered to
Load and pay suppliers on time
Reconcile age analysis and ensure items do not exceed 60 days
Work closely with all business units to ensure payment of vendor payments
Ensure all invoices / statements are legally and tax compliant
Manage stakeholders’ queries

Qualifications:

Matric and any finance qualification

Experience:

Minimum 5 years’ experience in accounts payable

Knowledge of general accounting procedures

Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Supervisory role

FMCG industry is preferred

Sage X3 is preferred
