Central or SADC Africa Sales Engineer

POSITION INFO:
We are seeking an experienced Technical Sales Engineer to drive growth and strengthen relationships across Central Africa and SADC markets. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical knowledge with proven sales expertise in the petrochemical and mining industries. Key Responsibilities Promote and grow sales to meet company targets. Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers. Prepare proposals and presentations to communicate value propositions. Conduct market development activities to expand market share. Resolve customer service issues and support debt collection. Ensure effective use of ERP systems and maintain accurate customer databases. Represent the company at exhibitions, events, and demonstrations. Requirements National Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Technical\/Marketing\/Sales (postgraduate an advantage). Minimum 8 years' technical sales experience in Africa, preferably petrochemical\/mining. Proven ability in complex B2B sales with long cycles and multiple stakeholders. Strong presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills. Proficiency in English and French (mandatory). Advanced computer skills: MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint; ERP experience (SAGE). Sound knowledge of electro-mechanical principles and fuel management systems. Working Conditions Extensive travel across Africa, including outside normal working hours. Flexibility to meet customer requirements. A detailed JD will be shared on request
