Centre & Maintenance Manager (Facilities)

CENTRE MANAGEMENT

Liaise with all tenants as required
Ensure that tenant issues are reported timeously and attended to
Resolve minor complaints or issues that the tenants might have as soon as possible and provide feedback
Ensure that all facilities and services (eg. Security) are performed in terms of the service level agreements
Prepare weekly reports and submit these reports
Assume responsibility for the inventory, service records and all maintenance
Ensure that the Health & Safety requirements, imposed on the company by the OHS Act, are met at all times
Report any unsafe or unhealthy situations to Management
Oversee all garden maintenance and landscaping ensuring high standards are met at all times

MAINTENANCE 

Ensure that all scheduled maintenance and services are performed on equipment (eg. Generators, lifts, air-conditioners, etc.)
Oversee / carry out the day-to-day maintenance requirements on the buildings and resolve any operational problems as they arise
Ensure quotes are obtained from outside contractors, to carry out specialized repairs and maintenance
Ensure all quotes received are approved by management before allowing repairs and maintenance to commence
Carry out all tasks delegated to you by the Property Manager / Owner, reporting on progress made and completion of tasks

CLEANING
Manage and supervise the cleaning staff
Purchase and distribute all cleaning materials, toilet paper, etc. to the various sites
Ensure thorough control of all cleaning inventory
Ensure all staff comply with all the relevant labour legislation
Observe and monitor cleaning staffs’ performance ensuring that they adhere to the company rules and procedures

GENERAL
Carry out any other ad hoc duties as and when required by management
Liaise with different personnel, as is required, to prevent delays and on-time delivery
Ensure knowledge of company’s Human Resources policies and procedures
Ensure high quality standards of work are adhered to at all times
