We are an established player in the export and mineral processing industry, seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) to join our finance team. This is a senior-level role ideal for a detail-oriented professional with solid experience in international trade and tax.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee foreign payments, including processing and compliance.
Handle all documentation and procedures related to Letters of Credit, Bills of Exchange, and other international trade instruments.
Liaise with banks, freight forwarders, and legal teams to ensure smooth cross-border transactions.
Oversee and optimize VAT refund processes related to exports from South Africa.
Ensure full compliance with SARS regulations and export financial reporting standards.
Support audit processes and contribute to the financial strategy of the business.

Requirements:

Fully qualified Chartered Accountant (SAICA-registered).
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in the export/mining/manufacturing sector.
Deep understanding of international payment methods, trade finance, and South African export tax structures.
Experience dealing with SARS VAT refunds and customs documentation.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
