POSITION INFO:

Our Client is looking for a Chartered Finance Manager to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial planning & budgeting including forecasting, estimates and supporting the strategic direction for the group/ business units/ function and developing these into short (Budget) and medium term plans
Drive financial & operational performance and initiate corrective measures to achieve profitability targets.
Manage cost and modeling process and profitability analysis
Prepare variance analysis and narratives in order to alert management on financial issues, trends & opportunities
Ensure that the management of the planning, budgeting and forecasting process complies with overall financial policies and procedures to support the achievement of strategic targets
Liaise with the corporate treasury center to manage FX and treasury aspects in the region.
Keep a track record of all Tax, customs and legal risks in the region.
Ensure ethics, rules and values of the company are understood and respected
Support the creation of a positive working environment (respectful, establishing high quality standards & open communication)
Knowledgeable in products, services and business processes of their key business and solid knowledge of all other divisions
Use business knowledge and market data to establish strategies and initiate actions to increase performance of division while considering the group overall performance
Apply detailed knowledge of accounting standards (e.g. IFRS, GAAP), statutory, regulatory and legal requirements to all kinds of issues including all external reports (e.g. cash flow calculation, notes to Financial Statements)
Advise management on shaping business decisions in a way that optimizes the opportunities that lie in the differences between various country standards and requirements and to defend off related risks
Give feedback and input to external expert associations and official institutions regarding accounting standards, statutory, regulatory and legal requirements
Maintain a strong network with experts across the group to ensure group-wide compliance

Required Skills

15 Years of Experience

Qualifications

University degree in Finance/ Accountancy or equivalent
10 – 15 Years’ overall experience
5 – 10 years of management experience at senior finance level
Multinational experience
Experienced CREST/User or similar systems
Experience in being a member of the cross country/ sub-regional management team
