SUMMARY:
Our client in the Retail industry is looking for a Chef to join their store in Western Cape, Strand

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, cook, and present food in line with company standards
• Ensure consistency in quality, taste, and presentation
• Maintain high levels of cleanliness and food safety in the kitchen
• Manage food preparation and ensure timely service
• Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and stock control
• Minimise waste and ensure cost-effective use of ingredients
• Supervise and support junior kitchen staff where required
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years’ relevant retail or FMCG experience (non-negotiable)
• Proven experience in a kitchen or food production environment
• Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
