The role involves exposure to an extensive range of industrial equipment, including pumps, screens, crushers, mills, conveyors, and cranes, as well as hands-on experience with project execution in challenging and rewarding environments.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical, electrical, civil, and process engineers, to execute mining and process plant projects.
• Conduct technical assessments and contribute to the selection of equipment, materials, and mechanical systems.
• Develop technical documentation, reports, and specifications aligned with project requirements.
• Review vendor drawings and specifications to support procurement activities.
• Assist in project planning, scheduling, and cost control to ensure project milestones are met.
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, and contractors to support seamless project delivery.
• Participate in project reviews, progress meetings, and team discussions to drive outcomes.

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering (recently graduated or within 1 year of graduation).
• Previous exposure to mining, process plants, or heavy industry (internship or work experience) is advantageous but not required.
• Strong foundational understanding of chemical systems, process machinery, and industrial processes.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Eager to work in a team-oriented environment and learn from experienced engineers.
• Willingness to travel and engage in fieldwork across remote locations in Africa.
• Demonstrates perseverance, enthusiasm, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
