SUMMARY:
Our client, a globally recognised and highly respected organisation, is seeking an experienced and commercially minded Chief Accountant to join their finance team. This is a senior opportunity for a finance professional who combines strong technical accounting expertise with commercial thinking, systems capability, and the confidence to engage with key stakeholders across the business.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities: Oversee and review P&L reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy and integrity. Manage and reconcile payroll-related accounts and transactions. Review and approve payments in line with internal controls and governance requirements. Assist with the integration and implementation of a new CRM system. Manage and support IFRS 16 accounting requirements and reporting. Monitor and analyse credit-risk activities and provide relevant financial insights. Provide accurate and meaningful financial reporting to support business decisions. Drive improvements across financial processes, controls, and reporting systems. Work closely with internal stakeholders to resolve complex financial queries. Support the finance function with ad hoc analysis and strategic financial projects. Qualifications & Experience: CGMA\/CIMA qualification is highly advantageous. BCom Accounting, Finance, or equivalent financial qualification. Minimum 5+ years' relevant finance and accounting experience is essential. Strong technical accounting and financial reporting experience. Proven experience with P&L and payroll reconciliations. Strong IFRS 16 experience is essential. Exposure to credit risk, credit control, or financial risk management will be advantageous. Experience with CRM or financial-system implementation will be highly beneficial. Advanced Excel and strong analytical capabilities. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability. Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate financial information into meaningful business insights. Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
