Chief Accountant (Dubai/Egypt)

SUMMARY:
We are looking for a skilled Chief Accountant to manage financial operations and ensure compliance with IFRS and local regulations. The role includes overseeing general ledger, financial reporting, audits, and internal controls.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

• Preferred industries would be Fintech/banking with consolidations experience
• Prepare accurate financial statements as per IFRS.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Ensure compliance with local tax laws (UAE or Egypt).
• Oversee AP/AR, payroll, and general accounting functions.
• Coordinate with auditors and regulatory bodies.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow monitoring.

• Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance; CPA/ACCA/CMA preferred.
• 5+ years of experience
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
• Fluent in English and Arabic (French is a plus)
