JOB SUMMARY:
Our Manufacturing Client is seeking a SAIPA qualified Chief Accountant

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum requirements:

Degree in Accounting/Auditing
3+ years’ of relevant working experience as Chief Accountant or similar position
Working in an international environment will be an advantage
SAIPA membership is a must
People management and developing teams
Data analytical skills and report writing
Experience with ERP systems like SAP, INFOR
Strong Microsoft office background

Main Responsibilities:

Responsible for the accounting department
Monitors compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
Annual audit process
Credit management and credit collection
Treasury management
Monthly and year-end reporting process
Financial reporting in Group Reporting Platform
Responsible for the internal controls related to financial reporting
Responsible for all taxes obligations
Local IT support
HR & Payroll Support
Contracts Management (Suppliers & Customers)
