Our client, a well-established services company with a global footprint, is seeking a skilled Senior Accountant to join their team based in Johannesburg North. POSITION INFO:
Company and Job Description:
As the Senior Accountant, you will take ownership of key financial processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and insightful reporting across a multinational operation. You will play a critical role in financial oversight, costing, and system-driven reporting, while collaborating with stakeholders across regions.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage full financial accounting functions, including month-end and year-end close processes
Prepare and review financial statements in line with applicable standards
Perform detailed costing analysis and support margin optimization initiatives
Work extensively on SAP/Hyperion systems for reporting and consolidation
Analyze financial performance and provide insights to support business decisions
Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements
Collaborate with international stakeholders across various business units

Job Experience and Skills Required:

BCom degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Completed SAIPA or SAICA articles (essential)
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a multinational environment
Strong costing and financial analysis experience
