A renowned financial services provider concern is looking for a seasoned and passionate Chief Audit Executive to join their team.

JOB & COMPANY DESCRIPTION

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing assurance and consulting services to the group and assisting in the management of business risks as well as drive the strategic importance and maturity of the internal audit function. The successful candidate will also be responsible for developing and managing the execution of the group internal audit strategic and operational audits as well as develop and implement IT strategies/tools for internal audit.

EDUCATION

The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:

• BCom Honors in Internal Audit
• CIA completed

JOB EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED

• Experience in the financial services industry would be advantageous
• At least 8 years’ experience in Internal Audit
• At least 3 years’ experience in a senior management role
• Excellent people management and leadershihp skills
• Working knowledge of finance, governance, compliance and risk management
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong conflict management skills
