An internationally recognised company in the data industry is urgently looking for an experienced Chief Engineer to lead their team in the Johannesburg area. This company is a market leader in its industry and it provides hyperscale data centers, this elite company also has a global footprint in five different continents. They are searching for a Chief Engineer to assist with running the operations at their data center, the desired candidate is someone who can guide a team of Technicians with maintenance aspects and can also assist with the expansion of existing facilities.

Education:

BTech in Electrical Engineering
Trade qualification
CFC certification (advantageous)

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Must have 3 years of management experience in similar role
Must have experience with compiling budgets
Must have experience in a data center and maintenance supervision
Must have knowledge of operational aspects of building systems and system performance deficiencies
