SUMMARY:
A well-established provincial economic development organization is seeking a visionary, commercially astute CEO to lead its strategic and operational transformation. The successful candidate will drive financial sustainability, unlock new revenue streams, strengthen governance, and deliver high-impact economic development programs. This executive role requires a proven track record in turnaround leadership, strategic management, and stakeholder engagement within financial, development, or public sector environments.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

Master’s degree in Commerce, Development Finance, or a related field. MBA/MBL is an added advantage.
At least 10 years of executive-level experience.
More than 10 years of experience in financial management, development finance, or within government/parastatal environments.
Proven track record in turnaround leadership, financial sustainability, and strategic organizational management.
Strong knowledge of governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks (PFMA, Companies Act, Treasury Regulations, King IV).
Valid South African driver’s license.
