Chief Executive Officer

SUMMARY:
A well-established provincial economic development organization is seeking a visionary, commercially astute CEO to lead its strategic and operational transformation. The successful candidate will drive financial sustainability, unlock new revenue streams, strengthen governance, and deliver high-impact economic development programs. This executive role requires a proven track record in turnaround leadership, strategic management, and stakeholder engagement within financial, development, or public sector environments.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

• Master’s degree in Commerce, Development Finance, or a related field. MBA/MBL is an added advantage.
• At least 10 years of executive-level experience.
• More than 10 years of experience in financial management, development finance, or within government/parastatal environments.
• Proven track record in turnaround leadership, financial sustainability, and strategic organizational management.
• Strong knowledge of governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks (PFMA, Companies Act, Treasury Regulations, King IV).
• Valid South African driver’s license.
