POSITION INFO:
Our client, a provider of a variety of outsourced services, including cleaning, hygiene, and security, and is looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer to join their team and guide the company’s financial direction.

Based in Kempton Park, this role offers the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic company within a fast-paced industry.
The CFO will act as a key advisor to the Board and CEO, fostering relationships with stakeholders and improving the company's financial systems and processes. The CFO will also take charge of the financial operations, ensuring the company’s strategies are executed effectively while maintaining operational efficiency and compliance. This role involves managing financial reporting, budgeting, working capital, and overseeing tax and regulatory adherence.

Duties:

Lead and manage the financial team across the Group.
Ensure the financial function aligns with strategic business objectives.
Develop and implement financial strategies, goals, and performance targets.
Cultivate relationships with shareholders, bankers, auditors, and regulators.
Improve financial systems, processes, and infrastructure.
Guarantee compliance with all legal and regulatory financial requirements.
Deliver accurate and timely financial reports, including year-end statements, audits, budgets, tax filings, and risk assessments.
Oversee tax compliance, covering VAT, PAYE, ETI, learnership allowances, and corporate tax.
Provide strategic advice and support to the CEO and Board of Directors as a fiduciary on the Board.
Manage working capital, financial forecasting, and budgeting processes.

Job Experience & Skills Required:
Qualifications:

Matric (Grade 12)
BCom Finance
BCom Honours
CA(SA) or CIMA

Experience:

Completed SAICA Articles
5 - 8 years of financial management experience in both operational and strategic roles
Proven leadership experience is essential
Experience in a senior role within the business environment
Background in manufacturing, engineering, or similar industries (preferable)

Skills & Competencies:

In-depth knowledge of financial management across all areas
Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial systems
Strong expertise in tax management and company restructuring
Solid understanding of BBBEE codes and practices
Ability to lead and build high-performing teams
Exceptional communication, time management, and organisational skills
