A well-established and growing industrial minerals producer supplying essential products to the mining, energy, construction, and industrial sectors across Southern Africa. As the business continues its growth journey, an exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Chief Financial Officer to join the executive leadership team.
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the CFO will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's financial strategy while providing commercial leadership across Finance, Human Resources, Procurement, and Administration. This is a hands-on executive position suited to a commercially astute leader who enjoys balancing strategic decision-making with operational excellence.

Company and role overview As a trusted advisor to the CEO and Board, you will drive financial performance, optimise operational efficiency, strengthen governance, and support the company's continued expansion. You will oversee the full finance function while ensuring robust financial controls, effective treasury management, and sound business decision-making across the organisation. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact within a growing industrial business operating in a dynamic regional market. Key Responsibilities Strategic Financial Leadership Partner with the CEO to drive financial strategy, business growth, and long-term value creation. Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and Board reporting. Support capital investment, funding initiatives, and strategic decision-making. Financial Management & Operations Oversee treasury, cash flow, working capital, and multi-currency financial operations. Drive accurate production costing, margin analysis, and capital expenditure evaluation. Ensure robust financial controls and effective ERP utilisation. Governance & Compliance Ensure compliance with tax, statutory, regulatory, and financial reporting requirements. Manage risk, strengthen governance, and support cross-border trade and export compliance. Leadership & Corporate Services Provide leadership across Finance, Human Resources, Procurement, and Administration. Oversee procurement, payroll, supplier management, and key business support functions to ensure operational efficiency. What We're Looking For The successful candidate will bring a strong combination of strategic financial leadership, operational expertise, and commercial acumen. Qualifications & Experience Qualified Chartered Accountant or equivalent professional qualification (ZICA, ACCA, CIMA, CA(SA), or similar). Minimum of 10 years' progressive financial leadership experience. Previous experience within mining, manufacturing, industrial processing, heavy industry, or a similarly asset-intensive environment. Demonstrated experience overseeing Finance together with HR, Procurement, and Administration functions. Strong knowledge of ERP systems and financial reporting. Proven experience in production costing, treasury management, and foreign exchange exposure. Sound understanding of Zambian taxation, statutory reporting, labour legislation, and corporate governance. Experience with regional trade, exports, and cross-border business operations within Southern Africa will be advantageous. Why Join?
