SUMMARY:
A progressive entity in the insurance industry is currently in the market for a qualified CA(SA) to take up a role as Chief Financial Officer. The successful incumbent must have at least 5 yearÃ¢Â€Â™ experience in a CFO role.

POSITION INFO:

A progressive entity in the insurance industry is currently in the market for a qualified CA(SA) to take up a role as Chief Financial Officer. The successful incumbent must have at least 5 year’ experience in a CFO role.

Qualifications and Experience:

CA(SA)
5-7 Years’ experience in a CFO role
Insurance industry experience (essential)
SAP ERP system (advantageous)

Key Responsibilities:

Management of the entire finance function and finance team
Providing strategic recommendations to the CEO and members of the executive team
Advising on long-term business plan finances
Ensure appropriate cashflow for the company
Ensure effective controls are in place and ensure compliance with IFRS and Tax
Identify financial risks and opportunities for the company
Reviewing of financial reports
Oversee the company fiscal activity including budgeting, forecasting, reporting and auditing
