An exciting and fast growing Financial Services Institution is looking for a dynamic and forward thinking CFO to head the organisations Finance Team

Financial Services
12 Years’ Experience, 5 years in an Executive Position

Job description:

Provide leadership, direction and management of the finance and accounting team
Providing strategic recommendations to the CEO and other members of the executive management team
Ensure credidility of the finance team by providing timely and accurate management accounts
Advising on long term business and financial planning
Proactively manage relationships with third parties (e.g. actuaries and Outsourced Finance)
Closely monitor cash and ensure that cashflow is appropriate for the company’s operations
Ensure that effective internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with IFRS, Tax, etc. and ensure legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance with laws and regulations
Drive efficiencies in your team and ensure that deadlines (both internal and external) are adhered to
Oversee the company fiscal activity, including budgeting, reporting, forecasting and auditing
Identify and address financial risks and opportunities for the company
Contantly review financial reports in an effort to reduce costs
Provide executive management with advice on the financial implications of business activities
Provie recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities
Perform other ad hoc functions as and when requested
