SUMMARY:
An industry leader within Insurance is looking for a seasoned Chief Financial Officer to lead their pioneering team.

POSITION INFO:

Qualifications:

Qualified Chartered Accountant

Skills:

Minimum of 5 years of post articles experience within the Insurance, Accounting, or Financial Management industry
Experience within a CFO position in the Insurance space would be advantageous

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Ensure credibility of the finance team by providing timely and accurate management accounts
Advising on long term business and financial planning
Proactively manage relationships with third parties (e.g. actuaries and Outsourced Finance)
Provide leadership, direction and management of the finance and accounting team
Providing strategic recommendations to the CEO and other members of the executive management team
Drive efficiencies in your team and ensure that deadlines (both internal and external) are adhered to
Oversee the company fiscal activity, including budgeting, reporting, forecasting and auditing
Identify and address financial risks and opportunities for the company
Contantly review financial reports in an effort to reduce costs
Provide executive management with advice on the financial implications of business activities
Closely monitor cash and ensure that cashflow is appropriate for the company’s
Perform other ad hoc functions as and when requested
