A reputable concern in the insurance space is looking for a seasoned Chief Financial Officer to join the business.

JOB & COMPANY DESCRIPTION

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic and operational financial support to the concern and the Executive Committee. The CFO will also be responsible for driving the financial, and risk management operations on all strategic matters including the development of a financial and operational strategy, ongoing development, and monitoring of control systems. The CFO will also be responsible for overseeing administrative, financial, risk and compliance requirements for the group as well as maintaining good corporate governance.

EDUCATION

The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:

• CA (SA)

JOB EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED

• At least 8-10 years’ post article experience in a managing finance environment
• Experience in the insurance industry is preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in performing the full finance
• Excellent people management and leadership skills
• Stable working track record
