SUMMARY:
A market leader in the Insurance is currently in the market for a Chief Financial Officer for their Funeral Cluster. The successful incumbent must be a qualified CA(SA) with at least 5 years’ experience as a CFO.

POSITION INFO:

A market leader in the Insurance is currently in the market for a Chief Financial Officer for their Funeral Cluster. The successful incumbent must be a qualified CA(SA) with at least 5 years’ experience as a CFO.

Qualifications and Experience:

• CA(SA)
• 5-7 Years’ experience in a CFO role
• Insurance industry experience (beneficial)
• SAP ERP system (advantageous) 
• Excellent reporting experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Management of the entire finance function and finance team
• Providing strategic recommendations to the CEO and members of the executive team
• Advising on long-term business plan finances
• Ensure appropriate cashflow for the company
• Ensure effective controls are in place and ensure compliance with IFRS and Tax
• Identify financial risks and opportunities for the company
• Reviewing of financial reports
• Oversee the company fiscal activity including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and auditing
