A client in the predominantly trading industry, a professional next generation and results driven corporation. The organisation has achieved great philanthropic work and strives to grow their investment portfolio in the predetermined sectors of the economy. A role that has become vacant is for a Chief Financial Officer. Long working hours and travel required from time to time locally and internationally.

The ideal candidate must have at least 5 years’ experience as a CFO, heading up the Finance Department of a similar entity.

The candidate chief financial officer should be a qualified CA (SA)/ CFA with 8 to 10 years Finance and management experience; at strategic level.

Education:

Qualified CA(SA)
5 years’ experience in the Chief Financial Officer role

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Financial planning and management
Manage the capital request and budgeting processes
Manage the accounting, investor relations, legal, tax, audit, and treasury departments
Report timeously to management and the board of advisors
Review, monitor and mitigate key elements of the organisation''s risk profile.
Construct and monitor reliable control systems.
Emotionally Mature
