A reputable medical technology manufacturer is looking for a seasoned CA(SA) to join their organization as a Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

JOB & COMPANY DESCRIPTION

The CFO will be responsible for providing strategic and operational financial support to the concern and the Executive Committee. The CFO will also be responsible for driving the financial, and risk management operations on all strategic matters including the development of a financial and operational strategy, ongoing development, and monitoring of control systems. The CFO will also be responsible for overseeing administrative, financial, risk and compliance requirements for the group as well as maintaining good corporate governance.

EDUCATION

The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:

CA (SA)

JOB EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED

At least 8-10 years’ post article experience in a managing finance environment
At least 5 years’ experience at an executive or senior management level
Experience with capital venture is preferred
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience in performing the full finance/CFO role
Excellent people management and leadership skills
Experience in financial management, corporate governance, relationship management, reporting, modeling and analysis
