SUMMARY:
Our client within the manufacturing (FMCG) industry requires the services of a suitably qualified, well-motivated and results driven candidate to be appointed in the CFO position.

POSITION INFO:

The candidate must be a registered CA(SA)/ACMA (CIMA), must have at least 10 years finanacial managament (post articles) experience from a medium to large entity in the manufacturing FMCG sector.
The position is based in Olifantsfontein.
The CFO will take accountability for the financial health of the business by guiding the business leaders on financial planning and management performance, risk management, and long-term sustainability planning of the company’s finances.
Responsible for accurate setting-up and implementation of financial accounting principles and policies in the business, scenario and financial planning and budgeting, treasury function, as well as leadership of the finance and administration team across the various divisions and functions of the company.
Accountable for accurate and regular reporting of financial activities of the business to a variety of the company’s stakeholders including the Shareholder, the Board of Directors, as well as Executive management.
The CFO is also expected to and liaise with the company’s funders, internal auditors as well as external auditors in relation to financial requirements as well as risk and internal control environment affairs of the company.
