JOB SUMMARY:
Johannesburg based position
Company: Exclusive well known international cosmetics company.
Role: CFO (MUST BE QUALIFIED CA(SA) NOT NEGOTIABLE)
Must come from a distribution or FMCG or Retail environment NOT services ( Not negotiable)
Preference will be given to EE candidates.
Working alongside the CEO on a day to day basis contributing to local strategy inline with international expectations. The CFO is responsible for the Accounting, Financial Analysis, IT, Supply Chain and Planning functions, ensuring that these functions operate efficiently and in line with regulations and group policies as well as responsibility for providing sound analysis to inform business decisions, provide recommendations to ensure financial performance and compliance with the Operational Budget, recommending controls for costs and expenses of the subsidiary; and enhancing the Company’s profitability and competitiveness. The CFO also manages legal and tax compliance issues, as well as internal and external audit processes and providers.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Requirements:

Minimum BCom Honours Accounting Degree and qualified CA(SA)
Minimum 3 years experience working at an CSuite Level
5 years experience working as a Financial Manager in a complex environment within a group structure with in a retail / FMCG environment NOT services or financial services environment
Proven Track Record in managing cross functional teams or projects
Advanced Excel literacy is essential
Strong motivational leader with the ability to ensure a cohesive and well aligned team
Strong Analysis & Report writing skills
Experience in retail or luxury goods sectors preferable
