POSITION INFO:
Title: Chief Financial Officer
Location: Johannesburg North
Salary: R 2.5 to 3 mil

This Services business has an opportunity for a driven finance individual who has experience overseeing the investment of funds and assisting with raising additional capital required for expansion, from sourcing to closing the deal.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Your duties will include tracking cash flow, analyzing strengths and weaknesses to propose corrective action plans when necessary and preparing accurate forecasts so that management can make informed decisions about future investments or cuts. Strategic reporting, in depth expense analysis, budgeting, controls and forecasting. Set clear goals and regular feedback to stakeholders. Provide strong commercial and financial advice on margin management, bid reviews and other operational issues as well as ensuring that the senior management team is appropriately communicated with on actual and forecast performance. An important part of this role will be to raise capital funding for the business.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• CA(SA) preferred
• Experience in raising funds
• Excellent management and leadership skills
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills
• Excellent knowledge of the investment landscape
• Drive the SA group of company’s financial planning
• Perform risk management by analyzing the organization’s liabilities and investments
