SUMMARY:
Leading National FMCG Distributor requires a strong, analytical and strategic CFO with strong commercial acumen to oversee all financial operations within the company, focusing on strategic planning, risk management, and ensuring compliance

POSITION INFO:
Purpose:
This role involves managing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and collaborating closely with the CEO to drive business growth

Key Requirements:

• Chartered Accountant (CA) SA
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a CFO role. Extensive financial experience
• In-depth knowledge of the FMCG sector and its business dynamics
• Strong leadership ability

• Develop financial plans, budgets, and forecasts
• Prepare comprehensive financial reports for both internal and external stakeholders

• Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks, ensuring compliance with all regulations and internal controls

• Design and implement financial strategies that align with the company’s goals
• Manage cash flow and optimize profitability across the business

• Build and manage relationships with investors, providing key financial insights and overseeing funding or investment strategies as needed

• Ensure adherence to all relevant regulatory requirements, including tax and accounting standards

• Lead and manage the finance team, promoting a culture of excellence and maintaining data integrity across financial operations

• Offer financial insights and advice to the executive team on critical commercial and business decisions

• Continuously enhance financial processes and leverage new technologies to drive efficiency
