SUMMARY:
Reporting into the CEO, our client is seeking a CA(SA) with a min of 3 years post articles experience in the manufacturing sector.

POSITION INFO:

You will be responsible for the overall finance and corporate functions for the company. Due to our client’s equity plan preference will be given to African males or females

Providing leadership, direction and management of the finance and accounting team.

Provide input to the CEO on issues/mitigation steps to help the business achieve their short- and long-term strategic goals
Report financial results to the Audit Committee and Board of Directors
Support for overall delivery of the annual business plan
Develop financial and tax strategies
Managing the financial forecasting and budgets process
Overseeing the preparation of all financial reporting.
Maintain appropriate and adequate insurance cover.
Monitor credit policy and follow up receivables with the relevant team.
Lead the funds raising activities of larger capital-intensive projects as and when required
Maintain relations with internal and external auditors
Ensure that the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements
Analyse business processes, develop cost-saving controls and initiate automation tasks
Ensure compliance to the ISO Management System.

Qualifications & Knowledge:

CA(SA) essential
Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment
3 years’ experience leading a team
3 years’ ERP system experience
Advanced competency in the Microsoft Office Suite - EXCEL
Experience with Syspro will be an advantage
Project Management Skills
Above-average Verbal and Written Communication Skills in English
