Chief Financial Officer - (CA[SA]) - AA/EE

SUMMARY:
As a key member of the Executive Management Team, the successful candidate will report directly to the CEO and assume a strategic role in the overall management of the Company. The person in this role will have primary day to day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial related activities for the Company.

Chief Financial Officer (AA/EE)

A successful innovative solutions Group seeks a skilled, dynamic and commercially astute strategic Finance Executive / CFO.

As a key member of the Executive Management Team, the successful candidate will report directly to the CEO and assume a strategic role in the overall management of the Company.  The person in this role will have primary day to day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial related activities for the Company.  This will include direct responsibility for accounting, finance, billing and collections, budgeting, financial planning and analysis, treasury, regulatory compliance, taxes, and forecasting. Additionally, you will be charged with strategically preparing the business for the future from a financial point of view and proactively structuring the business to stay abreast of change.

You will need to meet the following requirements:

• Possess a degree in accounting or finance; and be a qualified Chartered Accountant.
• You will have preferably begun your career in a recognized public accounting firm, and have some audit experience. 
• At least 10 years relevant post qualification experience in financial management roles
• Demonstrated the ability to set performance metrics and manage the accounting and treasury functions
• Have the business acumen, leadership skills and fortitude sufficient to be an effective strategic partner to the CEO
• Be a creative change agent who can approach traditional challenges with new ideas and can influence co-workers across departmental lines
• Possess strong leadership capabilities complemented by a collaborative approach to business management

The successful candidate will possess the following core competencies:.

• Driving results by rigorously maintaining accountability for achieving high levels of individual and organizational performance
• Adept at developing and implementing strategy
• Demonstrating analytical skills by applying logic and sound reasoning to determine the facts, understand cause and effect and demonstrate the necessary savvy to apply good judgment in complex situations
• Prior Exco level experience
• Must thrive in a fast-paced environment and be willing to “roll-up the sleeves”.
