SUMMARY:
A strategic and commercially astute Chief Financial Officer is required to join a dynamic, growth-focused organisation operating within a fast-paced industrial environment.

This role provides a unique platform to influence business performance at an executive level, drive financial strategy, and oversee key support functions, such as HR and IT. The successful incumbent will work closely with the CEO, Board, and key stakeholders, contributing to decision-making that impacts the organisation’s future trajectory.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the financial strategy, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning
Oversee financial reporting, compliance (IFRS and tax), and Board reporting
Manage cash flow, working capital, and funding structures
Build and maintain strong relationships with lenders, investors, and stakeholders
Drive cost control, plant profitability, and operational efficiencies
Lead governance, risk management, and audit processes
Provide oversight of HR, IT, and broader support functions
Act as a strategic partner to the executive team and Board

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Education: CA(SA) or equivalent qualification
Experience:
- Minimum 8–10 years’ experience in finance, with proven leadership at a senior level
- Strong background within manufacturing or industrial environments
- Demonstrated experience in cash flow optimisation and working capital management
- Exposure to funding structures, banking relationships, and stakeholder engagement
Skills:
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management ability
- Commercial acumen and strategic thinking
- Advanced financial reporting and analytical capabilities
Advantageous:
- Automotive or OEM supply chain exposure
- Experience in unionised environments and industrial relations
