JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties:

Preparing & Presenting Board and Audit Committee Reports
Financial Planning and Analysis; including Strategic Planning and Budgeting
Ensure systems are implemented or adjusted as the group grows
Ensure all financial records are kept in line with IFRS and the Companies Act as well as any other regulatory and statutory requirement there might be
Responsible together with technical advisors for commercial construct and implementation of various agreements
Responsible for safe keeping and effective management of the Groups asset base
Take responsibility for financial internal controls and successful completion of all financial and IT related audits
Evaluate the performance and provide training and development opportunities to the finance and admin staff

Job Experience & Skills Required:
Qualifications:

Matric
BCom Accounting
BCom Hounors
CA(SA)

Experience:

Completed Articles
12 to 15 years’ experience
General ERP knowledge, specific knowledge of SAP B1
Ability to implement systems specific to project management, supply chain management and stock management
Ability to understand and interpret legal clauses that has a financial impact

Skills & Competencies:

Good time management skills and the ability to prioritise
Proven ability to lead a team and to mentor members of staff
The ability to manage stress, pressure and competing demands
Attention to detail and good problem-solving skills
The capacity to make quick but rational decisions
