Chief Financial Officer - (CFO) - JHB

SUMMARY:
We have a Chief Financial Officer vacancy at one of our clients in a manufacturing industry. JHB South. Rneg + Performance bonus.

POSITION INFO:

Duties

• Managing the process of timeously and accurate financial reporting, including but not limited to:
  • Monthly management accounts;
  • Forecasts;
  • Budgets;
  • Reporting on the financial performance to the Board (quarterly);
  • Reporting on all audit and risk related matters to the Audit and Risk Committee (quarterly);
  • Maintain and improve internal control environment through management and implementation of policies and procedures and regular liaison with Internal Audit;
  • Managing year-end audit and liaison with external audit, including completion of annual financial statements;
  • Oversee and manage capital investments (capex), including significant overheads;
  • Supporting the CEO with business strategy, both financial and operational;
  • Overseeing and managing Corporate Governance aspects;
  • Other functions include:
    • Cash management;
    • Banking activities;
    • Networking capital management;
    • Provide support to other functions in the business, e.g. Human Resources, Procurement, Logistics;
    • Oversee Insurance function (declaration through to claims);
    • Oversee/initiate projects in line with duties and direct/indirect reports;
    • Provide training and guidance to all direct and indirect reports, including KPI’s.

Qualification

• B.Comm Acc (Hons).
• CA (SA).

Skills

• Five to seven years of financial management experience.
• At least 3 -5 years’ of this experience as CFO of a similar size company is preferred.
• Manufacturing experience a strong preference.
• Syspro, Microsoft Office, Qliksense, Finnivo
