SUMMARY:

Our client has an opportunity available in Nigeria for a suitably qualified and experienced Chief Mechanic to maintain production and quality by ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical equipment including all Dredgers.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar relevant degree
Related experience in heavy duty maintenance field is an asset.
Understanding of Heavy-Duty equipment and shop scheduling with 3 to 5 years of maintenance related experience is an asset.
Must have a good understanding of maintenance facility flow along with a strong understanding of parts inventory flow, systems and supplier base specific to utility equipment and winches.
3 - 5 years’ relevant experience
Must be computer literate
Must have valid passport and be able to travel soon
Initial 12 month contract with possibility of becoming permanent
