POSITION INFO:
An amazing opportunity is available for Chief Operations Officer who is an innovative and energetic professional to manage and drive leading negotiations, budgeting, purchasing, and putting efficient workflows in place to enhance the company's productivity and performance. Lead cross-functional teams, manage existing partnerships, and evaluate company business goals driving operational efficiency, enhancing organizational performance, and contributing to the achievement of the business objectives
The key responsibilities for this role will include:
- Organisational leadership
- Organisational strategy and management
- Business analytics, risk and reporting
- Audits and regulatory compliance
- Customer service and retention
- Talent and technology
As you will be required to hit the ground running extensive experience is essential.
The requirements:
Qualification: - Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Or Business Management (or equivalent qualification)
- Functional Training: Compliance Management Operations Management, Business Risk Management and Financial Systems and Controls
Experience: - At least 10 years in the Transport Industry and minimum of 5 years working experience in a leadership role
- In depth knowledge of diverse business functions and principles (e.g. supply chain, finance, customer service etc.).
- Experience in aviation sector and road freight would be an advantage.
- Managerial experience and demonstrated ability to develop and lead others
Skills Required: - High-level of proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Data and financial analytics
- Cost, revenue and cash management
- Knowledge of Basic Conditions of Employment and Industrial Relations
