JOB SUMMARY:
Fantastic opportunity with a Multi-national Manufacturing concern based in Linbro Park, has an opening for a Senior Accountant to join their team. Report directly to the Regional Financial Controller. The main function of the role is to prepare the GL and financial results and give the Income Statement and Balance Sheet to the Regional Financial Controller for review.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Completed B.Com (Accounting) / similar, plus completed SAICA articles (highly advantageous), with a minimum of 3-5 years Accounting experience at a Senior level essential. Experience within a multi-national manufacturing concern with exposure to USGAAP preferred. KPI's include: management of a Financial Team of 7; custodian of the GL (IFRS and USGAAP); fixed assets; Wear and Tear Register; VAT; SAGE X3 and month-end close; custodian of Balance Sheet accounts; month-end reconciliations and reporting; inter-group balancing; manual journal vouchers; SOX; assisting the Compliance Accountant with internal and external preparation and adhoc requests from Senior Management. Position would ideally suit a female. Successful incumbent must be willing to work long hours over month-ends and year-ends.
