SUMMARY:
We are looking for an experienced Production Manager with more than 5 years experience in CITRUS in the Cape Winelands area. Must have experience from a citrus background.

POSITION INFO:

Requirements:

More than 5 years experience with citrus
Agriculture qualification
Extensive knowledge of citrus production
GlobalGap and HACCP knowledge

Duties include:

Harvest estimates and forecasting
Manages irrigation programmes, suppliers, chemicals, fertilizers
Maintain good relationships with stakeholders
Staff management
Manage the Citrus department
Budgeting and forecasting
Develop marketing plans that are cost effective and sustainable
