POSITION INFO:
Company and Job Description:
This opportunity is with a well-established and fast-paced business based in Milnerton, Cape Town, offering a hybrid working model (3 days in-office, 2 days remote). The role is ideally suited to a proactive individual who enjoys getting involved in the detail and contributing across multiple areas of the finance function.

You will gain exposure to group-level reporting, tax, and statutory requirements, while working closely with a high-performing finance team. The environment encourages ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparation and review of balance sheet reconciliations
Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
Processing and review of journals and monthly reporting
Tax compliance and statutory reporting
Secretarial and governance-related duties
Supporting the group finance function with ad hoc financial analysis

Job Experience and Skills Required:
Education:

BCom in Accounting or Finance

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years’ commercial experience
Exposure to the full finance function advantageous
Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and reporting

Skills:

Strong Excel skills
High attention to detail
Hands-on, proactive working style
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a high-energy, collaborative environment
Balanced leadership approach — able to manage effectively without being overly authoritative
Confident, engaging personality with a positive and proactive mindset

Non-negotiables:

Must be willing to work in a hybrid setup (Milnerton-based)
Strong work ethic and willingness to get involved operationally
